As I reflect on the past ten years since purchasing Hebron Veterinary Hospital, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and pride. Next month marks a decade since we embarked on this journey, and what an incredible journey it has been.
When I first took ownership of Hebron Vet, my goal was to build a practice rooted in our core values—education, integrity, and communication—while providing the highest level of care for our patients. Over the years, we have not only upheld these values but have also grown into a team that truly embodies them every day.
One of the most exciting aspects of our growth has been the expansion of our veterinary team. I am thrilled to introduce some new faces who bring their expertise, compassion, and dedication to our practice:
• Dr. Laura Aylesworth, from Mansfield, joined us part-time last summer and has been an incredible addition. Dr. Aylesworth brings a passion for preventative medicine and nutrition to the team!
• Dr. Brett Douglass, who graduated in 2024, started with us in the fall. Many of you may recognize him, as he has been part of our family for years as a veterinary technician. Dr. Brett is excited to expand our exotic pet offerings at Hebron Vet!
• Dr. Aly Bishop became the newest member of our team in January 2025, further strengthening our ability to serve our patients with exceptional care. Dr. Bishop comes to us with an interest in internal medicine and preventative care, along with experience in urgent care and emergency medicine!
In case you haven’t noticed, we are growing our building as well and it has been quite the process! As we expand, I’ve taken a step back to focus on finishing up our renovations for an early spring opening. While I may not be seeing as many appointments right now, our doors are open and our wonderful new veterinarians are here to provide the same high-quality care you and your pets deserve. I truly appreciate your patience and support during this exciting transition, and I look forward to seeing you all again.
But our growth isn’t just in numbers—it’s in quality. The heart of Hebron Vet is our amazing support staff, and I couldn’t be prouder of the transformation we’ve seen. Our team now includes five certified veterinary nurses, alongside a compassionate group of veterinary assistants and an outstanding front office staff. Their dedication and expertise allow us to provide top-tier care every day.
Hebron has always been home to me, and it means the world to be able to give back to this community by providing the best veterinary care possible. Over the past decade, we have been humbled by the support of our clients, and we are excited for what the future holds. We plan to continue growing, expanding our services to include advanced surgery, ultrasound, and internal medicine, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care right here in town.
Thank you to our loyal clients, our incredible team, and the wonderful town of Hebron for making these ten years so fulfilling. We can’t wait to see what the next decade brings!
With gratitude,
Dr. Mordasky
